| Channel: | The lower reaches of Yangtze River River, from Nanjing to Yangtze River Estuary, is the seaward channel. For now, depth of the channel from Longzhua Rock to Yanzi Rock is -10.5, width of it is more than 200m, radius of turning circle of it is much more than 5 times as the length of vessel. The vessel with full load draft not more than -9.7m is navigable all year around. However, because of with the limits of head room of Nanjing Yangtze River River Bridge and channel depth, 5000 DWT vessels can get to Wuhu, even can get to Jiujiang and Wuhan during flood period; 3000 DWT vessels can get to Chenglin Rock and Wuhan. In the port area, there are 82 navigational marks, including 15 river crossing buoys, 60 ship-type buoys, 7 shore marks. |
| Anchorage: | There are 8 Anchorage, which are Meizi Island, Shangyuan Gate, Xinsheng Island, Qixia Mountain, Niaoyu Island, Yizheng and joint inspection anchorage. |
